How it was made
Challenge
Radixa needed testimonial-style video for its Daily Beets supplement that felt like real customers talking, not AI. Generated faces, stiff hands and over-polished voices are what usually give AI UGC away.
Research
Broke down what makes a real customer testimonial believable: small facial expressions, imperfect hand movement, casual handling of the product, and a conversational delivery that doesn't sound scripted.
Strategy
Rather than a single spokesperson, the concept used several distinct customer avatars, each in their own home setting. That makes the product feel adopted by different kinds of people, while the product presentation stays consistent across every video.
Creative Direction
Wrote detailed prompts for natural facial expressions, body language, hand movements and realistic interactions with the bottle. Voice direction was tuned for a relaxed, human tone instead of a polished ad read.
Execution
Generated each avatar video in Higgsfield, built the voiceovers in ElevenLabs, and finished editing and pacing in CapCut so every cut reads like a native, phone-shot testimonial.
Lessons Learned
Realism in AI UGC lives in the small details: how a hand holds the bottle, a slightly uneven smile, a voice that pauses like a real person. Directing those details by hand is what makes the content feel human.
